Purpose

The categories of a blog is always something I think about. I am attempting to make this my professional blog, with links for an e-portfolio and/or resume. This is an explaination of the types of entires currently used on this blog at the moment:

  • Events/Conferences - I am part of ALA/NYLA, so far I have only attended NYLA, and is an active member for that. Also as an editor for JLHLS, I will post up relevant book related events I attend.
  • Plans – entries on where I muse about plans for what to write about.
  • Reference – my quirks on posting reference issues.
  • Technology- what new gadgets or sites would I find interesting for librarian usage.
  • Trends/News – library related trends and/or news.
  • Uncategorized- unrelated or not yet classified entries.
